Namorat

Too lewd for me personally but a lot of the art goes in that direction admittedly.

Lochar

Porntastic.

umbrellaes

Am I the only one who find first pic inappropriate and disappointing?

PrometheusDarkflame

Was about to say that the first image is a bit risqué but then I realised that it’s both Xiulan, AND 80’s style, so actually that’s pretty tame on second consideration…

Oh come on. "How dare people draw a canonically sexy character as sexy!" Please consider that not everybody has values as Puritan as your own. Sex isn't bad, sexiness isn't a sin, masturbation doesn't cause blindness, and if people having sexual attraction makes you feel that they're "disappointing," that reflects on your own lack of respect for the people around you who live happy, fulfilling lives without your personal hangups about sex.

And yet you'd be upset if denied the opportunity to scold someone for having a different opinion. Not really that different from the puritans. If you were you wouldn't need to scold people.

Ope 'scuse me

I still wish there was a nsfw version of this novel. I know it started that way and then farmer decided that the MC was just too wholesome for that but I would have enjoyed it.

mhaj58

I’m betting that outfit was Jin’s idea. 😜

There's thousands of those kind of novels if you need a wank that bad.

Marian Ch

I know that's supposed to be a surfboard, but my brain keeps thinking 'big baguette' and I can't unsee it.

Ghost

Casualfarmer should make a separate patreon with the pictures for the pervert half of his readers so they stop clashing with the puritan half 😂. Add a NSFW AU beware of chicken and it'd be perfect

Victor

I feel like a chicken is supposed to be in that outfit. Big D?

@ Ghost Just Google something like Beware of Chicken Hentai or Fanfic. You'll probably drown in it. The thing is that the dirtiest little secret about dirty fics or pics is that they're... really fucking boring. Most porn is unless there's some that really flips your particular switch.

The first pic looks fine to me. It looks like an 80s outfit for a yoga workout. It was actually second pic that made think 'Isn't Torrent Rider a little too young to be wearing that little?'

Nicholas Roberts

Sure, but are they as good as BoC? No. BoC stands above all others. Try to prove me wrong, you can't

Of course there are, but there are so few that actually have good writing that I really appreciate the ones that can pull it off. I'm not looking for a harem erotica, I just want normal romances with characters that feel human. A tasteful scene or two in a book can be a good addition.

Jay

Im hoping for some mei-mei art

Sam

I honestly thought that the Torrent Rider was younger than his picture makes him appear

Leon

I had the same feeling but then, he is a good two years older than we first met him right? And there is a remark that he’s turning into a real man … maybe in our mind we just keep seeing him as a kid just like you always imagine nephews staying the same as you last saw them. And then they suddenly grown twice as tall and are sporting this super dubious brushy mustache and trying their best to look all adult and failing and you have to work hard to keep from laughing at them… or maybe that was just my specific experience

Aaron Schwartz

In a way I get what you mean, but I dont think you need an actual explicit scene to get that. As long as I know the romance has gotten physical, then it satisfies that “human” element you were talking about. And that can be accomplished with a “fade to black” scene like we’ve gotten here

Ender419

Kudos as always to Tsuu for such wonderful artwork. Love the detail on Xulan like the flowers to represent her affinity to nature and the Torrent Rider doing what comes first & second nature to him, torrent riding, with his master Bi De. My only request is that the Torrent Rider’s mask be a little more vibrant in color to match Bi De colorful vestment.

I thought the torrent rider was a teen not a HOT adult portraying a teen in an American film about high school. #Hotdamn

Except it is disappointing. Not for any of the reasons that you are so sensitive about (Seriously dude, chill out), but because it doesn't really capture Xiulan as a character. Tsuu has entire folders of Xiulan that are both sexy as hell and stay true to her. There is a ton of NSFW Xiulan art out there that's also first rate. This one... feels like someone tried to do 'sexy Xiulan' cosplay and never actually read the books.

Kasinki

Oh damn. Didn't know Tsuu was also a KFP member! Kikeriki!!!

BritAnon

Man I'd kinda forgotten how much time has passed in this story until I saw that Torrent Rider wasn't a kid anymore.

Ligeia

I finally just figured out why I don't like the picture of Xiulan in '80s exercise wear. I have no problem with how se,y or suggestive the picture is -- but Xiulan is supposed to be the picture of grace even in unplanned moments, and I don't find a shred of gracefulness in this drawing! It makes Xiulan look awkward and unattractive. I am anything but a prude, but it's so out of character for her that it really bugs me. I think a more graphic picture would be preferable to this clumsy unattractiveness!

Laura López

I feel like even tho xiulan is described as sexy her charm is more about dignified pure inexperienced kind of sexy, this is just too out of character for her

K1NG_CHIMP

I think someone was inspired by the newest Kiara outfit for that Xiulan art
