Deep within the stone cold walls of Sylvania Castle's drab dungeon, cheerful voices chanted in perfect unison.

"Only the best for Master Blackwood!"

No matter how much their most esteemed guest thrashed, tugging against the harshly fastened belts keeping her royal self still, the strange ritual continued. Adorned in these degrading rags, Princess Blaze struggled to resist the alluring glow inching closer and closer, trying her best to keep a clear mind, her very own thoughts betraying her.

Mere... minutes? Hours ago...? She wasn't quite sure, yet she could almost picture her confronting her despicable suitor. A vile man obsessed with the desire to bend everyone's will down to his own, all with a mere touch of his terrifying gloves. "Only the best for Master Blackwood" as his staff often chanted. The spoiled so-called aristocrat wanted to make the feline princess his bride. She tore him down... but this creep wasn't one to take "no" for an answer...

The glow grew ever brighter, the accursed gauntlet hovered over Blaze's face. As tears welled up in her eyes, the princess felt her consciousness slip. If only she could've been more careful, if only she could liberate her hands, if only she could tear off the disgusting collar keeping her powers at bay, if only... only... the best... for Master Blackwood...

T'is the spooky season! And oh wowie there are some spooky inspirations to be had in the latest IDW Sonic arc!

Having caught up with the comics, I have to say that I simply adore the current storyline of Blaze and Silver confronting a wealthy fiend with an affinity for overwriting one's will. The stellar premise makes for quite the amusing story... and I only wish we could hang on it a little longer.

Still, I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to whip something up, so there you go! Princess Blaze finds herself captured by an obsessed maniac, one eager to turn our favourite feline into that of an obedient maid! Terrifying...!

Had a lot of fun with this one, even did a version styled after the very comics that inspired this artwork in the first place! Lemme know what you think :>
