Nice to see you checking out some performances from shows like this. I actually rewatched one of the performances earlier today. One interesting thing about this show is that Yubin, Exy, and Moon Sua were all on Unpretty Rapstar 2 (and Jimin was in the first season). Moon SuA was a YG trainee at the time and spent about 10 years with the company before leaving and joining a new label. Unpretty Rapstar 2 was about a year before Blackpink made their debut so who knows if things would have been different if she won. Probably for the best that fellow Unpretty Rapstar 2 competitor Yezi wasn't on the show, since she is a great singer as well. The magician is a new song that was just created for the show. Every rapper had a tarot card assigned to them. I'm guessing they had a hand in picking them due to how some of them were. Magician fits Billlie's concept. Jimin I remember started out as the Hermit, but switched to a different one. Exy was the Devil. The first songs were kind of to show off their rapping ability and then there will be more singing in later episodes. JooE might not be my favorite rapper, but she is such a ball of energy. I believe Exy's song was a cover with new lyrics. But I don't remember 100%. After last year, I certainly got to know Mimi a bit more as she was on Earth Arcade. They did include a reference to Earth Arcade in like episode 2 or 3 of Second World since one of the other cast members (comedian Lee Eun Ji) showed up to help Mimi out. I'm looking forward to the next season which was recently filmed (I believe in Norway after season 1 was in Thailand). CLASS:y is another competition show group. Seonyou's song is called Fifteen because she was 15 (Korean age), so by far the youngest competitor. Absolutely amazing considering her way. I believe the next youngest would be Moon SuA but I believe she is in her early 20s now. The controversy was pretty much cleared up, which is how she is able to come back to the industry. So Exy actually had COVID during the filming of episode 1, which is why she was missing from reaction shots and her performance looks different. Exy certainly doesn't have luck since she got COVID both during Queendom and during Second World. On the subject of Exy, it is getting close to time to hearing the fate of WJSN and whether they can beat the seven year curse. There are certainly some great performances on the show.

its nice that the wiki page for this show has the performances and episodes laid out pretty nice and clear to what the performances are and in what order, so that helps.... Ive been dying to watch the show, i really like the concept, youve heard me over and over again talk about how i liek to see a different side of artists i love, and this is perfect. - how great would it be if they came out with Third World and its the vocalists having to rap lol - i know UPRS has had a shitload of great talent throughout the years including some of my favorite overall artists like Soyeon, at some point ill prolly try to get caught up on it too (at least the performances lol) - i remember JooE being a ball of energy in the idol shows, always going 200% on the dancing and everything lol, i really only know a couple of momoland songs (and i believe i just read somewhere that they left their agency) - i was thoroughly impressed with both Mimi and Seonyou, i didnt really know them before today so its great to have such a profound first impression - im glad everything got cleared up with Jimin, even if guilty of whatever it was, it sucks so bad the idea that someone's dreams are forever impossible because of one thing - lol thats right, they did have issues with covid during queendom lol, she does have shitty luck.

- Yeah, I looked at the wiki page for it and it was really well laid out. - Vocalists rapping would be great. I could see Chaein signing up for that and doing well. Of course, with Purple Kiss's teasers from today, she was grouped together with Yuki for the unit pictures (which I guess means she is now considered part of the rap unit of Purple Kiss now). - UPRS is a bit of a mixed bag and probably best to just stick to performances. MNet pushed the drama to extreme levels (both in editing and trying to set up situations based on how they did things) and to that end they did diss rap rounds far too often (SMTM only has 1 per season). Still, some great performances came out of it. One show I would certainly recommend checking out the performances from is Good Girl. It is still my favorite MNet competition show because they went in the complete opposite direction they did in UPRS and some legendary performances. - JooE on variety shows is always refreshing. One of my favorites is Episode 253 of Weekly Idol which featured various members from a lot of groups you know. - I wasn't surprised when not a single member of Momoland resigned given how terrible the company treated them (and why I refuse to check out Lapillus since they are under the same horrible company). They had a lot of other bad luck along the way.

i cant wait until Purple Kiss' comeback, it will be a lil bittersweet without Jieun but im sure ill still love the group, they are all super talented and fun. - i remember you saying something liek that about some shows being drama pushed, thats always lame when they do that stuff, i have Good Girl written down aswell to check out, might make that bewfore uprs since itll be hit or miss - its hard for me to justify boycotting a group. i understand it does punish the company, but i feel like it punishes the groups' members more.. some of them might not ever get another chance to be in a group, so when they finally get in one and no one gives them a chance because of their company (which might have been the only one to give you a chance so you had to try) doesnt seem fair. LOONA is why i had those thoughts at all. Its all a no win situation really, no matter what the fanbase does i think. But i do understand the push for giving the companies a reason to treat them better by not buying into what they are selling because of values

Check out Class:y's 2 title tracks, Shutdown and Class:y. The performances from their survival show "My Teenage Girl" are some of the best I've seen, and I've seen just about every kpop survival show. I'd also check out Wonder Girls - Why So Lonely, it was when they were doing a band concept where the members played their own instruments.

Oh nice I'll check out the performances and songs.. I was really impressed with her intro in this show. I know that song by Wonder Girls, it was how I got introduced, I for sure need to listen to all their songs tho. Thank you for the info and suggestions!
