At the start of 2024, Germany had 52,000 #Bitcoin in its possession.

The holdings are now down to 23.8k $BTC (down from 39.8k BTC yesterday).

2 things i find very impressive:

1) It's incredible how resilient the $BTC price has been  

2) The recovery starts now w BTC at 56K

ETFs must be stacking hard to offset this selling

I read that the Mt gox bankruptcy finally was, "resolved" with nearly 8 billion in BTC being returned to investors from nearly a decade ago. If this is correct that could be a lot of people looking to sell their btc they purchased ten years ago.

They were strongly encouraged to sell at a loss most likely by whom, merica. Why else would they sell now at a loss. They loss will be subsidized somehow moneey printer.

As I read this sippping a nice Riesling on the boat…I remind myself this is a long term game. In October we can get excited about the ‘going to the moon’ videos as Btc crosses 80k…

Does anyone have the same problem as myself? I can only see the first picture? The bottom two are grey and don’t seem to load? Anyone know a solution or have the same problem? It’s not occurring with all post though.

The German government is running on fumes, they've already allocated their annual budget and their rigid constitution doesn't let them increase the spending. The sale of BTC may be an alternate method to fund emergency expenses such as the war.
