Big news for Bitcoin enthusiasts today: a second presidential candidate will be speaking at this conference. I have cautioned throughout the year that BTC is becoming a significant political topic. It's crucial for all parties, including the Democrats, to recognize and address the growing interest in BTC. With 55 million Americans owning and caring about cryptocurrency, it's an important issue that cannot be overlooked.

When you have a first past the post type democracy, you usually end up with two parties, this causes many to vote strategically instead of who they want. This is also when mistakes happen and you end up with surprises. The pendulum swings back and forth between the two parties and the public pays for the winning party to undo everything the previous part brought in, wash, rinse and repeat.

And the “dichotomy” between the 2 parties - be they Democrats vs Republicans in the US or Liberals vs Conservatives in Canada - as if they exhaustively represented the full spectrum of political possibilities and public will, is largely false as the same corporate interests (the Central Banking Cartel, agri-food industry, Big Pharma, insurance industry, energy industry, automotive industry, arms industry, etc) finance and wield enormous influence over both parties.
