Blackstone buying your DNA (Patreon)

Blackstone is set to acquire Ancestry.com for $4.7 billion, gaining total ownership of the DNA data from everyone who has ever used the service.
This is why I avoid services like 23andMe and Ancestry.com—I never trusted them.
And by the way, Blackstone is also the firm buying up houses and multi-unit properties across the USA, turning it into a renter's market.
eg Blackstone agreed to purchase AIR Communities for approximately $10 billion, marking its largest multifamily deal to date. The portfolio includes 76 properties with over 27,000 units in coastal markets such as Miami, Los Angeles, Boston, and Washington, D.C. Blackstone plans to invest an additional $400 million to improve these properties and may allocate more funds for future growth.
eg Tricon Residential: Earlier in the year, Blackstone announced the acquisition of Tricon Residential, a Toronto-based developer with around 38,000 build-to-rent houses in the U.S. The deal, valued at $3.5 billion, includes plans to complete Tricon’s $1 billion pipeline of single-family rentals and $2.5 billion in apartment projects across Canada.
