Suppose an asset's price increased by 10% over a year. If the M2 money stock also increased by 10%, the asset's performance relative to the money supply would be flat, indicating that its nominal increase may be due to monetary expansion rather than actual value growth.

Div M2 is how you show real performance of an asset over time.

Silver was a shocker for me today. It is worse than Gold.

Holding precious metals: the slowest get-rich-never scheme ever! However, if we go back to end times and cave man days many believe they should have some.

Yeah don't you love that logic. "If there is no electricity what good is bitcoin". My retort, if we have no electricity, you've got bigger problems and good luck keeping all that gold your carrying around.

This is the time to buy Silver, a retest of the $26.50 breakout is the Best Buy for a 10x return over the next 6 years, Silver is in a major deficit, Teslas use more Silver, Solar uses 20% of global silver and growing, all electronics use Silver and medical uses, hedge funds will squeeze silver much higher

End times? I believed we are in the end times now. Silver wasn’t used as a medium of exchange during the “cave man” era. Holding physical silver as a hedge and to be able to barter with and pay for things during an SHTF scenario is very smart. Silver has actually outperformed the stock market recently by 38%. So don’t frown on silver too much. Precious metals has been REAL money for thousands of years and it ALWAYS will be. Good luck accessing your crypto on the next Internet outage just like what they had recently or one day when you wake up and won’t have access to your bank account then how are you going to pay for things?

I made good profits on Silver at the start of Covid, selling all in January 2020 & buying back when the G/S Ratio went above 120, it had never done that before. I managed to get back in at the lows for Silver, (v lucky) and sold again for just over a double. Just own a tiny amount today & the Family Silver :) My best trade in PM's was in Rhodium, bought the lows when it went under $1000, was $850 the day I bought + lousy spread, however sold for almost a 20x, it did go almost 30x from my buy in. Can't complain. It was however incredibly difficult to sell, I could only find one buyer for retail in Portland, Oregon (Liberty Gold & Silver) who I understand are no longer in business, a pity as Mike & Janis were two of the most decent & honest people I've come across, we need more like them in Crypto!

Well if you follow silver closely there is clearly something going on in addition to the obvious rigging buy the bullion banks. Silver is in deficit, industrial use/energy is through the roof, silver council openly lying, and ‘’Following the lead of the Utah Legal Tender Act of 2011, already 43 US States have adopted legislation that simplifies the use of gold and silver coins as money’’’. https://www.forbes.com/sites/nathanlewis/2023/11/07/us-states-leading-the-move-to-a-golden-dollar/

Dont all have to be Maxi’s, property, equities, cryto & PM - thats my spread, not equal %, but PM probably wont do much up or down, but thats sort of the point when you have huge volatility from equities& cryto.

I'd be interested to see a similar graphic for the S&P500 and also farm land.

Hunt brothers silver peak in 1980. I was in photograhy at that time. It made B&W films super expensive.

I sold most of my silver in Jan and Feb and rolled it into Sol and BTC. So far I am glad I did. Was tired of the games the banks play with precious metals. They will go up eventually but not before BTC and Sol go up a lot more.
