Why is this alarming?

The recent spike indicates that a significant portion of the currently employed population fears they might lose their jobs in the near future. This kind of spike usually occurs during periods of economic uncertainty, such as before or during a recession.

If you look at the historical data, similar spikes in unemployment expectations have occurred around significant economic downturns or crises, suggesting that people may sense impending economic trouble. We are at more than 10 year highs and way worse than Covid.

When people fear losing their jobs, they may cut back on spending, which can reduce consumer demand and further slow down the economy. This can create a vicious cycle, where the fear of unemployment leads to behaviors that make unemployment more likely. I hope the fed see this!

White collar employers are in expense cuttting mode (as we have seen META and others do) and reluctant to hire. That over hiring in 2021 coming home to roost. Admittedly I am nervous too

Why are we in the market then? Shouldn’t this be a warning sign to get out into cash? Also every time the fed cuts rates, the markets crashed hard.

With what seems like non stop negative economic news…how do we think Btc will rocket to 150k in the next 12 months?? Won’t it tank like everything else?? (or all on its own as it seems to do every few days!🥴)

Will tank at first when everyone panics with recession then they will lower rates and pump liquidity and that’s when it moons I.e after Covid
