The dominance of the US stock market has been extraordinary:

Currently, the US stock market represents 65% of the total global equity market capitalization, marking the highest level ever recorded.

This share has increased significantly from approximately 40% since the Financial Crisis.

In contrast, European stock markets account for only about 15% of the global equity market.

Yes but….European stock markets show so much style, and panache. American markets cannot hope to compete in those critical areas.

Too bad we don’t like the current administration. Can we somehow thank Trump for this?

Europe is a decade ahead of the US in its transition to socialism and the destruction of industry and technology from climate extremism.

Looking forward to your digging expedition James! 😊

EU heading for self imposed destruction- funny how WEF owned politicians don’t do any good for a country in the EU or UK. Most people i think could assemble a better government from their neighbours than currently exists in most uniparty governments .

So much for Trump’s claim back in 2020 that the stock market would crash 50% and send us into a Depression if Biden was elected. 😂 None of Trump’s doom & gloom predictions came to fruition, nor will they again when Harris wins. Cheers to continued stock market highs under President Kamala Harris in 2025! Kidding aside, most of us GenX folks should admit that we made most of our wealth in the 90s under Clinton, and then again under Obama’s upward trajectory out of the 2007 recession, and then again under Biden. We did “ok” under Trump but nothing compared to what we made in stocks and crypto under Biden.

It's simple. It's the ease of access to the US stock market with apps like Robinhood and eToro that brought in a lot of new market participants which uses to be eaten alive by crooks brokerage fees for foreign markets in the past.

Yup, that's big tech for you. Companies like Apple, NVDA, amazon, google, Microsoft etc have soared over the past 15 years to trillion+ dollar valuations. The big boys account for a huge amount of the overall market cap; most of the S&P doesn't even make a dent. And places like Europe just don't have companies like that. NVDA alone has a bigger market cap than the 10 largest companies in Europe combined.

James would do a quick segment on your video pre-opening bell data and how to determine what the market might look like in North America. Example might be looking how Asian and European markets did, since they are ahead of us, and how the futures look, or key Fed data about to be released that day, etc? Anyone else have thoughts... pls post reply... Cheers!
