Question: Every movement is on-chain and transparent, correct? Even the ETFs have to move money on-chain, even if less obvious. It seems like the only way around around this is change of custody without transferring, i.e. turning over keys (with seed change) to maybe exchanges arranging movements between accounts without on-chain transfers. Am I missing something?

It genuinely concerns me that we can't explain the disconnect of BTC price vs demand. I do think though, that BTC whales like Michael Saylor and even ETF issuers like Blackrock would WANT prices to go up. Not just small retail investors/HODLers like me. It is to their advantage BTC price goes up. Why buy an ETF whose price flatlined?

IDK. There has always been whale manipulation of BTC and big dips in the bull runs. If you zoom out, this cycle looks a somewhat like the other cycles. This time may not be "different" which is a good thing.

This is a perfect product for money makers - LOTS of volatility - which they are able to control. They make boat loads of money on volatility while we wallow in stagnation.
