My previous one was lower. My liquidation price is 102.

Leverage is now 3.5x

How do you trade a PERP exactly? Is it like a futures contract where you don't pay anything upfront but get called on margin? Or assuming a 3x PERP and SOL at 150$, do you pay 1500$ upfront to effectively control not 10, but 30 SOL? Is that the deal? Thanks for your answers!

Guys when i have an open perp and add to it, the fees get cut down to a few dollars, why? I had total fees of 25 bucks, i add to the perp and it appears to reset. Is this really what is happening? And therefore the accumulation of fees is faster because the position size has increased. Why do the fees reset is my question

Joz

Wtf is going on with sol & btc 🤦

Cachi

Fees are constantly changing. I entered a 20 SOL @3x and fees were $6.13. Then entered a 10 SOL @3x and fees were $8.11. But when I look at the current aggregate position, the fees are $9.15. I tried to do some arithmetic on how they arrived at this new fee but couldn’t figure it out. If I do the weighted average of both positions, I should be paying more like $10.19 on fees, so go figure.

Entered my first ever perp position this morning (only 2 of my 56 SOL, just to get my bearings), with an entry of 142 and Liquidation at 101. Thank you James for creating the content that allowed me to develop the confidence to get into this realm of opportunity, if only by a toe, for now!

Ok I looked into this but how does this work is it based on price or date

K0LD_Nutz

Remember that leg down to $110, I’ll double a position if I see us sub $120

Ffs not looking good

For James and fam to consider. The cold hard truth is that btc dominance is no joke, at it sniffs out weakness in the market and sucks liquidity from alts, including SOL, as sol has still yet to hit an ath on its bitcoin pair, while some other alts, have. And if you look at the 2019 cycle, btc declined even as interest rate cuts were introduced.. This is why Saylor is awaiting to deploy 2 billion into btc, soon. Because he is smart money, and smart money knows the next opportunity to deploy $ 2billion into btc isn’t here yet. We still are in a descending wedge pattern, and there is plenty room to go down before the massive gains arrive.

Bollocks

With regards to James SOL perp trade……..at what price and when do we deploy the dry powder….NFA of course

Also September historically isn't good for stock market or BTC. Yes this time can be different as it's election year but still expecting dips in first 2 weeks even if last 2 weeks rebounded
