Nother new segment - top rules to live by. Let's see if I can share one a day for 300 days

Rule 1: Make friends with people who want the best for you

Surround yourself with supportive and positive people who encourage your growth and well-being.

Why is this important?

Choosing your social circle wisely is essential—these people will uplift you, provide positive influence, and inspire you. They’ll offer encouragement and support your growth. If you observe successful individuals, you'll notice that they often surround themselves with other successful people.

That's soooo true. I'm a professional musician, among other things, and have always tried to get accepted into a band whose members were all better than me. I learned a lot that way.

Further to this concept is the feedback- loop of always giving some of your time to these people, especially if they are in crisis or if your specific skills/experiences would be helpful. Always comes back around.

So true. Cultivate your friends wisely. Become the person you would want to spend time with.

Meetup.Com. if you don't find the exact type of group, you can create your own Meetup Group, create your own very specific Charter, and just watch the people start joining that group. Thereafter, you can actually arrange for physical Meetups.

I couldn't agree more. Jordan Peterson has devoted many pages to this in his books...
