I'm paying 66€ a month for full coverage, but also have maximum discount because of maximum years of no accidents that you can get here in the Netherlands. Price has gone up +-25% for me last 3-4 years. probably a lot more for new (younger)drivers.

UK based - I’ve been with the same insurer for 4 years… this month, they decided to double my insurance premium for the same car that is a year older and there have been no other changes to me or the car. Unbelievable. Worst of all, they expected me to pay it 😳 I did not pay it. I found someone else who only hiked what I was paying by 30%. I was still miffed at that! Insurance companies. Scumbags. Always have been. Anywhere in the world.

Insurance on home and auto are unacceptable. Insurance companies make the money whilst we suffer. I have no debt and yet still watch my money disappear into insurance land. I am ok with companies/people making money off of me but not a killing off of me. Next car that I buy will be a Tesla with Tesla insurance.

Im in Los Angeles, my husband and I own two VERY old Toyotas and pay $1,000 a year for both of our cars with Progressive. Liability + Uninsured Motorist. We pocket the money and are ready to pay high deductible if needed. In 10, 20, 40 years if we don’t get in an accident, we pocket the money rather than give it freely to insurance.

RAV

4.8k/yr for two decade old vehicles. Waiting for the coverage to be official and acquiring more solar panels on our home.

I want to add in south Florida my mother’s home owners doubled to 1000 a month, not including the mortgage. I own a bit of real estate in PA and afraid they are going to make my rentals no longer worth it buy insurance gouging

Insurance companies have always ripped people off. My mother has worked for a couple of insurance agents over the decades. Even as a kid decades ago, I saw how rich insurance agents were and never wanted to buy insurance.
