2 main reasons I see for this:

The Covid Boom is over

Now the real issue is insurance, properties cannot be insured in many places due to hurricane risk. CA is facing some similar challenges although not as bad. Wait till an EQ hits.

What used to be the safest asset is now very risky due to extraneous factors. BTC vs RE these days.... BTC seems safer. My 3 legged stool could soon have 2 legs.

Real Estate down there 👇 probably decent rite now! The further along into a BTC world they will prolly be the new world leaders 🫡 in The kingdom of Buton where they’re quietly stacking sats they measure the quality of life by GROSS NATIONAL HAPPINESS!!! Lol 😂 imagine that. Places like this all over the world are popping up…gonna b looking at real estate 🏡 in these places

this is true, in owning FL rentals the insurance for a 3BR doubled, but it is still less expensive for the area we're in than what we pay for a 3BR in our residence in another state. It went from $650 to $1250

As a landlord in the college town where I own 3 condos I’m feeling secure for now. Hoping my 3 legged stool stays upright.

Immediately noticed the Build date of 1999. 1st thing that came to mind was probably how insanely high the insurance cost must be. I’m gonna gustimate $1,200/month based on my recent studying of the florida RE MARKET
