Ledger Clear Signing Scam (Patreon)

Hey Team
Beware Ledger Phishing Scam
Ledger users are being targeted by a phishing scam through emails that promote a fake security feature named "Ledger Clear Signing." These emails claim that activating this feature by October 31, 2024, is mandatory for continued use of Ledger devices, aiming to deceive users into providing access to their cryptocurrency.
The scam emails direct users to malicious websites by clicking on links which are not associated with Ledger. These sites attempt to steal users' private keys or other sensitive information necessary to access their digital assets.
Ledger's Actual Clear Signing Initiative: Ledger has indeed introduced a legitimate "Clear Signing" initiative aimed at enhancing user transaction security by making transaction details clear and verifiable directly on the Ledger device's screen, contrasting sharply with the phishing scam's intentions.
Security Recommendations:
Never click on links from unsolicited emails, especially those demanding immediate action for supposed security updates.
Users are recommended to verify any updates or features directly through Ledger's official channels.
