It may be because my driving record is impeccable.

Tesla has 5.5 years of my X driving record and 3 mths of my Cybertruck.

If Tesla does not like your score your premium will go up.

Are you not concerned that a company has so much data about you?

How often do u drive? Probably not much thats why ur insurance is low

I have a cybertruck and we’re about the same age. Clean driving record and I’m paying $250 mo. With Costco 🤷‍♂️I need the name of your agent!

One more reason not to go for a performance model. 😉😆

Interesting that the metrics include Forced Autopilot Disengagements. It seems you could be penalized for preventing the car from doing something potentially dangerous. FSD is getting good, but there are plenty of TSLA fan boys out there making vids showing that there is still need for vast improvement. Take Dirty Tesla's recent Cybertruck test for example: https://youtu.be/lH3xHbOVw6Q?si=e9Dbt3zw_7SiIoC4

Impressive. I started on Tesla insurance when I got my cyberbeast in early May. Beast mode makes the premium sky rocket. Went from lowest 170 a month to nearly 500. I might try again now that self-driving is out but early collision warning were excessive going off for parked semis. Seems good now though. Also hard not to go fast when my kids chant beast mode in the back seat lol

Gosh... If my husband drives the Tesla, we'll pay more for insurance.

There are two problems with Tesla insurance in my mind. 1. They track you directly (not anonymously as they claim for general information gathering). I don't have the tracking for any Ins. on any of my vehicles (there are too many other things tracking us as it is). 2. Tesla insurance pushes toward FSD style driving. Anyone buying a cyberbeast/plaid/etc is not buying them to drive like a 'grandma' (ironic term as elderly are often scary drivers, LoL). Carving back roads, driving off-road, etc, etc are all things that drop the score to negative. I do understand that there is a set of people that the Tesla Ins is good for. It is not everyone.

With a good record my Progressive Ins would have been under $60 a month for my cyberbeast (full coverage) but I have a teen on my insurance that caused it to go over $100 a month (even though they won't be driving/insured for it).

Do we have TSLA insurance in Washington state?
