SCAM WARNING sorry to hammer this home but just heard of a case where someone lost a bunch thru one of these Coinbase scams. It broke my heart. ScamTakes a lifetime to make it and a second to lose it.

Remember: Companies like Microsoft, Google, Coinbase, Bank of America and other financial institutions do not have customer support that proactively calls you. If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from a major company expressing concern about your account or well-being, it is definitely a scam. THEY DO NOT HAVE TIME TO CALL YOU - just as I do not have time to DM you one on one.

Even if you receive a call from entities like your bank, if you're unsure:

  • Hang up immediately.

  • Call the company back through the official number listed on their official website to verify.

Stay safe and always be skeptical of unsolicited communications regarding your financial or personal accounts.

Thank you for continuing to spread awareness. I know a guy who had 25k invested in A new ledger account and received an email from ledger to verify his seed. He provided the link and boom 25k gone. He was obviously a newb and thought it was legit. Hard lesson to learn the whole point of a seed phrase.

I usually stay on the phone with them and mess with them. I give them all sorts of fake information. I used to think the longer I keep them on the phone with me, the less time they have to scam other people. But now I worry about them cloning my voice. Some banks have your voice as verification.

Be carefull out there friends. This past summer coinbase contacted me saying my account had suspicious activity. Amazingly they had a lot of information, when they finally asked me for my seed phrase I hung up and ended the call. Then I reported it to coinbase. Be cafefull be vigilant.

Yeah I lost my entire Bitcoins to these Coinbase scams. It is hard. Funny thing they still keep calling me! Coinbase is at fault. Why do they let outsiders gain knowledge of their clients?

I lost 10 eth to YouTube comments scans. Now I'm a viligant reporting. There were over 254 comments saying they recd their ETH. I've kept the address, though it all disappeared.
