The US Govt move to ease federal hurdles for self-driving cars marks a pivotal moment for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) ambitions. By prioritizing a national regulatory framework, the administration aims to streamline approvals and raise deployment caps, directly addressing the regulatory bottlenecks that have slowed Tesla’s rollout of fully autonomous vehicles.

This would allow Tesla to accelerate FSD deployment, expand its robotaxi vision, and boost recurring revenue from FSD subscriptions, while solidifying its lead over competitors in the autonomous vehicle race.

I’m still worried about FSD not using LIDAR. And yes I’m a TSLA shareholder and a long time IA member. That Mark Rober vid and his response to the criticisms makes me a bit nervous. My Tesla shares are a long term hold that have taken a long time for me to accumulate. Don’t want to throw it away. Greetings and love from Australia. Please don’t hate me for genuine concerns I have.
