Who We Are and What’s Real Will Change

As technology and human nature come together, the line between what’s real and what’s virtual will blur. It already is. Ask your kids. People might live part of their lives in digital worlds, not just the physical one. With things like brain chips and smart devices, our thoughts and memories could exist both in our heads and in computers. This will make us rethink what it means to be a person and what’s truly real.

Who Has Power Will Shift

Govts will no longer be the most powerful groups anymore. Instead, the people or companies who control technology and information could run the show. To keep up, everyone will have to learn new skills, change how they think and feel, and even rethink how we earn and spend money. The way we work together and make decisions will have to change fast.

How We Connect and Remember Will Be Different

Technology will change how we connect with others and remember things. Devices and computers will help us store memories - [think Elons Neuralink], share feelings, and even “link minds” with other people. We might not always know if a memory is real or just stored on a device. All these changes will make it even more important to remember to care for each other and use this new power wisely, so things don’t get out of control.

In short, as technology and human nature mix, who we are, who’s in charge, and how we live together will all change in big ways. We’ll need to adapt and make sure we use our new abilities with kindness and care.
