In light of recent public demonstrations and safety considerations across the United States, Tesla has decided to exercise additional caution regarding the launch of its robotaxi service. The tentative date for the first public rides in Austin, originally considered for an earlier timeframe, has been adjusted to June 22, with the possibility of further delay to ensure optimal safety conditions. This decision reflects Tesla's commitment to prioritizing the well-being of the community, especially in the wake of recent incidents involving autonomous vehicles during public unrest, such as those reported in Los Angeles. Additionally, the first Tesla vehicle planned to autonomously travel from the factory to a customer’s home is now scheduled for June 28, subject to ongoing safety evaluations.

Stock is down a fraction in after hours so it is not impacting the stock.

Rem these cars are already running around Austin driverless...

James always assures us he’d never support a sociopath in any way. I believe he has solid personal integrity and undoubtedly means a great deal to many members of IA. IMHO his blind spot (we all have them) unfortunately is seeing the best in leaders like Musk saying he models his relentless work routine and ethic on his. You know, the guy who is “back sleeping on the TSLA factory floor”. Musk is a strung out, grifting, apartheid era South African techno supremacist, just like Thiel and the rest of the PayPal Mafia. These are objectively dangerous people. James didn’t recognize Mashinsky for the grifter he was as he bought into his pitch and vouched for his integrity. He, I believe, is very well intentioned and in fairness probably works harder than any of the CEOs he invests in but this lack of cold objectivity (combined with otherwise “hard data”), when actual Truth is at a premium, is deeply concerning to say the least.

I appreciate your opinion, however your bombastic language does not inspire confidence that you have a healthy perspective yourself.
