Bitcoin derivatives are financial contracts allowing bets on Bitcoin’s future price without owning the actual cryptocurrency. On Binance, a major crypto exchange, Bitcoin derivatives are currently priced $40–$50 below Bitcoin’s spot price.

Historically (2021–2022), cheaper derivatives signaled a bearish market, with falling prices or pessimism.

Today, however, this gap exists despite Bitcoin hitting record highs, a bullish indicator.

Possible reasons for this delta gap include institutional investors hedging to reduce risk, arbitrageurs exploiting price differences, or the influence of Bitcoin ETFs, which trade like stocks but track Bitcoin.

Key takeaway: A price gap doesn’t always mean the same thing. Market signals vary by context, so understanding the situation is crucial.

Seen you on COIN and SWC Telegrams. I mentioned SWC.AQ and CINGF (COIN.AQ) on here a month ago. Think you responded. Waiting on Cykel Ai and Cel AI who have already announced introduction of BTC Treasury, but have not bought yet with their capital raises.
