If the new SOL ETFs pull in say $12BN in AUM in 1 year it will drive price to $400.

$8bn = $300

It is not a very scientific model but I am building out my new IA SOL Multiplier,,, just trying to get more than 3 weeks of Data.

I'm not sure how to think about the high staking rewards on Solana. I enjoy it, sure, but will it lead to an inflation long term? I think James calls it the compound effect, we have it there as well, don't we?

Does SOL have the same OTC desk supply as BTC?

RSUMUC

there is already inflation on the SOL network. SOL is still my biggest bag

I don't recall these ETF's being a big talking point 12 months ago when $600 SOL was being discussed?

SkylarB

Would be nice to see Sol pump big. Been a long and choppy ride. Ready to see it break out.

SolMan

Before the U.S. election you mean and everything swung crypto friendly instead of hostility. Why would an ETF have been discussed?. You had no chance under Biden.

Blackrock missing is a real problem

Thanks James! It appears the chart doesn’t represent the price to which projected ETF inflows will drive SOL (“12bn will drive SOL price to $400”), but rather the projected first-year growth of SOL ETF AUM assuming 5 different SOL price scenarios (SOL at 100/150/250/300/400 USD) and an average of the first-year growth of the BTC and ETH ETFs. So, if the SOL ETFs experienced similar inflows (proportional to market cap, adjusted for SOL inflation) and SOL price were $400, the SOL ETFs would have $12bn AUM one year after launch.

Seems like treasury and etf will be better option

Would love to know what this would do to SOL Strategies?

Can anyone tell me please why Blackrock did not apply for a SOL ETF?

Bitman

James. After some digging, it seems ETH has so much hype form Wall Street due to security! Simple terms. 1M validators vs SoL’s 2000. Plus, it’s battle tested having never gone down. In addition, SOL is 80% meme projects, spiking the data. Not stirring the pot… I’m sold on SOL but wonder if you/we are overlooking the importance of security when it comes to comparing the two?
