NVDA now has largest weighting ever for a stock in the S&P500. If all SPX stocks were distro equally each would have 0.2%... NVDA now has over 8% weighting.

Oh and guess what, we have ONLY JUST BEGUN! MARK MY WORDS

Who would have ever thought that company who made gaming chips would become the beast it is today.

Jacob Eminger

i’m starting to stack TSLA, is to too late to get into NVDA?

Andre de Havilland

James seems to really like nvidia but his holding is pretty small vs tsla mstr and a few others ...I'm suprised he hasn't 'bought more ' to diversify a bit from his big two

Ed COOK

Need more TSLA and NVDA. Hopefully we get a good alt season to re allocate some bags💰

"Only just begun" are you saying NVDA weighting in S&P500 could double from here? and MCap could hit $10T?

So I an a little split on valuation models VS potential. Historically companies stock have performed on revenue delivery which is PE based but then we have also seen Apple, Google and Meta break those rules. If history repeats then we may see same with Nvidia and Tesla but it would be great to see true projection models VS guesstimate

He called the bottom of NVDA back in November (2022 if memory serves?!) I had just joined patreon and didn't go balls deep. That said, I don't recall the exit as I wasn't in the trade

Some gaming nerd in my engineering office back around 2015. Wish I would've listened

That’s a crazy fast horse Jimmy

So what does this mean? Buy more TSLA or NVDA?

Cody_Jack

NGL, traded 2/3 of my TSLA bag for NVDA back in April and got a cost basis around 101. Will rotate some NVDA back to TSLA . Pair trading in a ROTH to boot. So glad IA and the community convinced me move from the brokerages that limit exposure to crypto and equities.

Or some other Chip company like AMD will take away market share from NVDA, their margins will collapse and XOM will be at the top of the s&P because of $400 oil a barrel because energy is in such high demand

I have been battling the same dilemma myself. While comfortable managing/investing my own funds it's a different story when it comes to pulling my wife's account from the fa we choose a few years ago (even though the best they have been able to do 11% in 23 & 24 and 4%YTD. I originally thought it would be good diversification but with what I have learned from IA and team it's impossible to deny the time has come to take personal responsibility of the whole lot. Thanks James for all the ways you and the team are equipping wage earners to change their financial trajectory .
