In 2020, ETH crushed it with 400,000 Daily Active Users.

Today, Aug 8, 2025 ETH has 400,000 Daily Active Users.

To compare, SOL had 30,000 Daily Active Users in 2020.

Today SOL has 5,000,000 Daily Active Users.

One chain has not grown. The other has gone up 170x.

ETH fees also reflect this...

Data for days yet Eth couldn't care less and continues to out perform SOL. I guess you lost that wager with Mando? Hopefully the upcoming SOL ETFs will release SOL from its slavery to manipulation.

It seems many in crypto still chase big swings rather than true investing. James focuses on real value, not hype. Hype can make money, but building long-term wealth requires a different mindset—and James clearly has it.

This alpha was valuable when Solana was single and double digits. It was obviously mispriced. Now Sol has caught up and is probably close to fair price. James nailed the Sol trade, but never took profits. This is coping at this point. Sol will probably get back up to close to ATH but will most likely underperform eth for the rest of the cycle.

SOL and Tesla have been on a price plateau for the last 8-10 months while so much else has moved massively. I'm feeling glad I had built positions in Nvidia, MSTR, PLTR, HOOD and some others, and held some ETH. SOL and Tesla prices need to really get going now. The opportunity cost on holding them at this time...smh, no matter how good the fundamental narratives.

Sol has great fundamentals and great to stack in the bear market but in the end of the bull it’s best to just follow price action and trade that. Eth right now has the hype and attention.
