Wow this will soon take a bit out of all the cable internet companies.

By the way the Light Program works for someone if they are alone... ie not having 4 kids stream all day... LITE SERVICE is enough for one person even if that person is only 24/7 at $65

Full service is $99/month (from $120)

If you are a nomad... the ROAM option is also cheaper.

Here in South Korea where telecom services are incredibly fast and at least 1/2 the price of telecoms in the US, Starlink will have a hard time breaking into this market. I have the shittiest cable and internet service here. I pay $29/mnth for 500Mb internet. My building is too old to have fiber optic otherwise I'd pay $35 for 1GB if bundled with my wife's and my phones, which are $29/month each as well. The US sucks diiiiiick. I was paying $90 for Comcast internet/cable and $50/mnth per line for shitty Verizon service.

Currently paying $55 for FiOS

I'm paying £30 a month and zero fees for equiptment, prices need to come down further to make it competitive.

Currently paying $50/month for a family of 4 on AT&T Fiber. It's faster and cheaper than my previous internet Spectrum cable internet. Starlink needs to continue dropping prices for the majority of people to consider switching. It's a great option for people in rural areas or in foreign countries without easy access to internet though.

Does that Cybertruck dash accessory really work? 😅

Great for mobile but the speed is still a slug compared to residential fiber optic. Still not competitive, other than for mobile/travel.

How do we invest in starlink?

WR W

Just yesterday, you said you need real speed in trading. Starlink is about 150 Mbps vs. fiber at 1000 Mbps.

Brett Q

I install plenty of Starlink's. They still need clear line of sight (buildings, structures, trees, even leafs obstruct) though performance is improving and - direct from the Starlink app) obstructions like leaves are beginning to have an even lesser impact 🤯

Ryan Nelson

I would rather have 10 MBPS and low latency than 150 and high latency... People put way too much into speed and not nearly enough into latency. 25 MS is average for starlink and great for trading. Not to mention you're only as fast as your broker is.

SpaceX on the secondary market. SpaceAngels.com or private investment platforms (make sure they are legit though)
