I made a request for this IPO. Again, I’m not sure if it will fill, but it has been queued. I am very bullish on bullish. Peter Thiel is a legend.

I’m using Robinhood

Bullish Breakout Bullish, the crypto exchange about to list on the New York Stock Exchange at a valuation near $4.8 billion, wasn’t born in a vacuum. It was announced in 2021 by Block.one — the same company that raised more than $4 billion in the largest initial coin offering, promising to develop a new blockchain running a token called EOS. That token soared to nearly $19 in 2018. Today it’s worth just 54 cents, after the market euphoria cooled. In recent filings, Bullish revealed that Block.one has handed its remaining stake to a firm tied to its own CEO, Brendan Blumer, and transferred a $500 million loan to a Cayman Islands firm. Buried deep in the IPO paperwork is an acknowledgement: the past could still complicate licenses or approvals. Under a pro-crypto White House, that’s more a caution flag than a stop sign. Bullish and Block.one didn't return requests for comment. The bigger takeaway is less about rules than about reinvention. In crypto, history can be rewritten -- and it often is -- but early devotion to a brand or project doesn’t guarantee future rewards. EOS believers watched their coin sink while the company moved on to new ventures. "Memory in the crypto markets among financial participants is extremely short, and fairly mercenary," said Lex Sokolin, managing partner at Generative Ventures. Thousands of other tokens have declined, died or were forgotten over the years. Investors moved on. Now, Bullish is going public with fresh capital, a growing exchange, and a high-profile listing. But its clean start comes at a time when the market is crowded and cutthroat: Coinbase, Binance, and a raft of upstart exchanges are already fighting over traders with lower fees, deeper liquidity, and faster listings. Established traditional financial companies are jumping into the fray to expand into crypto, as well. One of Bullish's recent filings mentions the word "competition" 32 times. For Bullish, shaking off the past may be only half the battle; winning the future will mean surviving a price war. Charting it out The stablecoin market has grown nearly 30% so far this year to reach nearly $269 billion, according to tracker DeFiLlama, and could expand to as much as $2 trillion within the next three years, according to Standard Chartered Bank
