Overall, Mert, friend of the channel and his core factual claims (his background, banks' ownership of deposits, yield extraction, poor UX, and government protections) are accurate and well-supported. The rest remains to be seen. Either way change is coming to banks FAST whether thru BTC, Crypto or X - buckle in.

There's no way governments will let this happen.

When ppl talk Stable coins they are either uninformed ( which is not the case here) or just intentionally avoid the subject. The facts: 1. SC are not protected by FDiC, 2. Every transaction is taxable, 3. No yield ( it goes to SC issuer), 4. All transactions on public ledger. None of that is for interest of indiv. Investor. All for Gov. And Banks . Very low level of discussion on that. Out of sight out of mind? Why not ( IA) discuss this topic in depth? This community needs to be informed instead of being fed half-truths.

The main benefit is easy low-cost transactions anywhere, including internationally. Holding money in stablecoins obviously does not make sense. But transfers is what many people use banks for. The other is investments which is disrupted by other parts of the crypto ecosystem.

So I ventured into an idea for last 12 months to create a fully crypto bank. There are two options 1. Leverage existing banks compliance system and build a blockchain layer and offer as a blockchain bank (lower cost to entry) 2. Build entire infrastructure and seek compliance on your own and break free from bank claws (significant investment). The option 1 was faster to scale because I get all the legal requirements fast and go to market is easier. The problem is getting ready of big banks is not easy as they continue to invest in Blockchain and will again be monopoly doing the exact same thing they do today. I would rather go opton 2

Change can't come fast enough. The greatest fraud perpetrated on humanity is the Global Central Banking Cartel and its endlessly inflating, manipulated, fractional reserve fiat currency system that is a positive feedback loop of wealth and power concentration among bankster elites while keeping the working and middle class majority as debt-slaves with the deflationary benefits of technological progress and economic expansion debased away by money printing.

As a European, I would add also Revolut to this equation. They are truly a global bank with the best UX out there. I think they're starting to eat the bank's lunch already. Let me know your thoughts on this! :)
