  2. Oracles were all over the place eg Pyth and Link firing erratic prices

I had a $4k perp-for-adhd account that got liq'ed yesterday. I thought i was out of reach at $160 liq level on SOL. SOL went to $129 on kucoin. Taught me a valuable lesson. I ussually have a stop loss in place, but i didnt this time as i just wanted to hold the position. Im not sure a stop loss would have saved me though, cause of the speed of the sell off. I like to perp, just a little, cause it keeps me not bored. I am wondering how to do it while playing safe (safeish). Could do isolated margin with the stop loss amount being the margin amount and adjusting the leverage.... seems like a slippery slope though. Any thoughts on this? Did any of you get saved by a stop loss yesterday?

A whale on Hyperliquid, a crypto derivatives exchange, opened massive short positions just 30 minutes before Trump’s 100% China tariff announcement. He closed the trades for $192 million in profit, all in one day. The accounts were created this morning, funds withdrawn within hours. Someone always knows. https://x.com/_Investinq/status/1976854052521603427

Did i get this right... These exchanges 1) LOCK us out as a dump is happening, so we CAN NOT sell our position. 2) If we Do have a Stop loss the Exchanges DO NOT trigger them. And when the Bottom is hit, the Exchanges DO NOT let ya buy a position... WTF... Else am I missing???

From unusual whales on twitter: BREAKING: Look at this. A new crypto account was opened yesterday morning. 30 minutes BEFORE Trump's announcement of 100% tariffs on China, it added a huge multi-million dollar levered Bitcoin short position, per YF. The market dumped. The trader made a profit of $192 million in two hours. Unusual. https://x.com/unusual_whales/status/1976973805999603795?s=19

Fear Zero

AKA buy spot bitcoin, self custody it, and HODL. Let the tide go out on these charlatan MOFOs who will all be exposed eventually.

Obv. This has been super common during trump administration. Idt James likes to criticize this administration tho

Hypermanipulated space. Really, hodl BTC in cold storage and I shoulda learned last go around to sell SOL when it hit 250 (sold a third of my position when it hit that last go around and held through the bear. Shoulda sold another 1/3 last week). Use cases and speed advantage haven’t equated to token price appreciation here for SOL. Price is what you pay, value is what you get. Not sure SOL will ever reach predicted prices but it’s such a small portion of my portfolio, I’ll at least keep some to keep interested

I happy I lost very little!

Important to look at: we all hear saying of this wallet and that wallet did sell before or made that particular move. If we know the addresses we could write a watchdog that message us when those particular wallets are moving selling or buying again in the future. And we could all be thinking of doing the same as a hedge. !! What about that? Anyone in for that? Let me know. It could be a good app to make. Grok wil help us.

After 30+ years managing money this looks like manipulation to create tax losses to help mitigate enormous gains. Now that the sharks are in the pool they are able to bring their bag of tricks to crypto. Big money ETF's drive demand and pricing but can also manipulate markets at will. Personally I believe we need to strip power from ETF's by not allowing them to act on investors' behalf...simply be a consolidator with economies of scale regarding op costs. NO VOTING RIGHTS! Then let's see how fast they walk away (or more likely raise fees)! Bottom line is nothing changed in crypto recently...buy all the way down to the low 90's if we get that lucky. M
