Tesla just rewrote auto history.

In Q3 2025, Tesla delivered 497,099 vehicles worldwide — nearly matching BMW’s 514,620, and blowing past Mercedes (441,500) and Audi (~400,000).
Not bad for a company with just 2 main models that only run on batteries.

Legacy automakers have been at this for 100 years. Tesla did it in a decade — with EVs only. That’s execution: supply chains, software, and brand power.

The internal combustion era is fading fast — EVs near 20% global market share — big S Curve rise is next... it is always the same way with new tech. PS Hydrids, like Lidar are a fools errand.

And this is just the start:

  • New 2026 Affordable Model 3/Y trims start — cheaper, smarter, still fully electric will finish the lunch of the competition.

BMW’s 17k lead? Gone soon. The next wave of affordable Teslas + autonomy will seal it. Oh and they all drive themselves out of the factory.

Please make a video to show those fudders on how to short $TSLA. Thanks James.

James. Not sure if anyone’s brought this up but do you have any concerns with the supply of rare earths in general or as it pertains to restrictions placed on trade by China. At least in the short term before other supplies can be brought online in the next few years

LGHP

What do people think will happen with classic cars etc if EV’s really take over? Eventually phased out / taxed to death becoming worthless? Been thinking about buying something to enjoy while I still can.

Pops

James I have a question. Since you and others have said that electricity prices will be going up due to the massive requirements of AI/data centers, how will this affect the sale of EVs and us as EV owners down the line?

RoyE

Most of the ICE maker's problems are government policy induced. The current situation is not the result of free-market dynamics.

Craigus

About to take delivery of third Tesla, Y performance - would never go back

Pryce Discovery

Wow 3 Tesla's! Congratulations! I'm looking to get into my first Tesla, probably something used so I can keep most of my funds in TSLA. Any recommendations for a man starting a new family. Cheers!! 🙏🏽❤️

I picture a meme of the grim reaper knocking on doors with the Elon face on it.

Sol Hodlman

The free market rewards the most efficient manufacturing that can deliver the best quality at the lowest price, so yes, Tesla wins if they take away all government intervention.

Sol Hodlman

My guess is Tesla will benefit since they are also in the solar and battery business. It will become essential to have solar panels. I’d be interested to hear if James sees it this way as well.

Timmeh

Some cars will always be collectors pieces. Some people will remain to stubborn to transition.

Nikita

I get genuinely don't get the hype of the cars the minimalism of them seems too much for me is it just because of autopilot?

Ado

It's about the $$$$ Everything comes back to that!

Waymo launching in London next year - let’s see if the hideously biased uk government and mayor of London allow robotaxi .

As a keen driver the thought of cars driving themselves is grim. Open and relatively quiet Scottish roads means it’s a driving dream for me. Each to their own I guess. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
