I knew you’d like Caitlin! She’s my favorite character. Plus the dynamic between her, Barry, and Cisco is one of my favorites throughout the series. I haven’t rewatched the show so seeing these older episodes makes me feel some things! Lol, I’m super excited to see your reactions for the rest of the season.

“I’d like to see Oliver train him”...patiently waits for the crossover episode. My favorite character is Barry and then Iris so I can’t wait until you see their relationship/friendship develop cause they truly have such a beautiful bond, and Iris as a journalist is one of the best things about the show especially in s1

leri

Caitlin, Cisco and their friendship are the best thing of the flash

Bria Bey

Juli have you noticed yet that Eddie is played by the same actor as Dr. Maxfield from The Vampire Diaries.

Bria Bey

I love the actor who portrays Harrison Wells so I really enjoyed Shady Wells in season 1.

I shipped Barry and Caitlyn in season 1 too. But Barry and Iris are canon in the comics.

Anastasia

Yess Caitlin and Barry😍 they’re the cutest

Rewatching these with you, I realized the Barry/Iris relationship dynamic and you said (like a few folks at the time) that it seems a little weird that he likes her and she's like his sister, but seeing this episode again, it's clear that Barry never saw Iris as his sister because he always maintained in his mind that Joe was not his father. So, it's why Iris sort of saw him more as a brother/best friend but he only thought of her as a best friend that he began to fall in love with.

I like the detail about Barry having to consume a lot more calories being shown also 'cause you see him in the comics all the time with tons of pizza boxes and donut boxes around him or a huge platter full of hamburgers that he's scarfing down at super-speed. :-D

Sara Peterson

Barry & Joe's relationship is hands down the best part of this show ^_^
