without spoiling, people like to exaggerate how bad certain seasons are, season 3 is actually pretty good up until the last 5-8 episodes where the quality drops off, okay ya season 4 is awful, no excuses there, but its worth it because seaon 5 is easily the best season or at least tied with season 2, season 6 is good, nothing amazing, about as good as season 1, season 7 so far has been incredible and if they keep the same quality it might end up being the best season so far, basically just saying theres a lot to look forward to, and theyre renewed for season 8 which a lot of people didnt expect, heres hoping its just as good.

I get how it would feel for people who loved the comics and that it sucks that laurel/Oliver didn’t stick, but with that being said the show is simply an adaptation of the comics, not a play by play, and some things just work for the show and others work for the comic and in the instance of felicity and Oliver they worked for the show, people vibed with their chemistry more and the way the writers write them and their situations it’s clear how they feel about the pairing. Simply putting laurel and Oliver together just because it’s in the comics wouldn’t flow with the current shows story

Yes! I totally agree! I mean the way they wrote Laurel and Oliver just doesn't work. And they are great friends. I like that a lot! My heart is Olicity for sure bc I see so much potential. But at the same time I can agree why some ppl didn't like it tho. Is understandable if they just don't ship Olicity.

season 3 is actually really good, maybe the season finale is not strong as the previously ones but the season is one of their best. the biggest problem of season 4 was the main villain but it wasn't that bad as people are saying it was. for te comics, yes laurel/oliver are the couple but oliver cheated on her multiple times even in the comics and they divorced at the end. plus there are many versions of the comics, not only one. and in some versions they are not together. i never liked Oliver Queen in the comics, he's just a dickhead playboy. The Oliver of the show is so much a better man (even if we saw him as playboy but at least he changed). on the other hand, dinah lance is much better in the comics, especially in the birds of prey (birds of prey is one of the best dc comics). and this is not the first tv show where the green arrow's endgame is different from the comics. it’s a tv show it’s it’s own multiverse. in the flash they followed the comic for the main couple but they changed so many other things. (iris and barry >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> laurel and oliver in the comics). kara end up with jimmy (james) olsen in the comics and thank god they stopped that shit on supergirl. comics are not the bible or a book. there are many versions, many multiverse. trust me, not every comics fan wanted oliver and laurel as couple. and in any cases they really are the minority of arrow fandom. i never understood how a fan of Laurel can ships her with Oliver. she deserved much better. they worked better ad friends
