The originals is not better than TVD, it is however very good but without a Damon type character, it lacks a little. Let's be honest, without Damon, The Vampire Diaries wouldn't be close to the show it is

Facts i was about to say i like a majority of characters in the originals and i like how they focus more on witches and wolves also i feel like originals also gets more into the entire lore of how vamps and wolves even came to be and how its all connected to this family its more than just liking a character like VD to me personally i watch VD or liked it because of damon and bonnie the actual story was ok i like the later arcs when bonnie and damon bond and develop as characters

Glad youre enjoying this show so much! Shit was so fire back in the day. Imo the peaks of Vampire Diaries are higher than the Originals but it just went on for too many seasons. Thats just my take on it though, both great shows!

Don the older the vampire the stronger so for example caroline no matter how much blood she had she’d be weaker than damon unless he was bled dry
