I tend not to pay attention to it very much. If you eventually read your comments, lol, I'm also not a fan of Elena. Each time I watch the series over, I dislike her even more. It's the secondary characters like Bonnie, Caroline, Jeremy, Alaric, etc. that make me enjoy this series.

boohoo😂ever since the start,bro has been saving everything.i can’t comprehend how yall miss the bigger picture at any given instance.I thought that maybe that’s only a show thing,but you reminded me that people are like this is real life also.whether you argue the ways in which he went about it,the bigger picture has always been about elena.his views became warped in the end,which makes sense.He had to watch his girlfriend become swayed by his younger brother,even when he was committed to saving elena’s life…alongside her loved ones.Had to watch people in her circle die or get severely injured constantly,while he couldn’t do anything because he was compelled.Bro got his feelings turned off forcefully😂then Damon and Elena kissed just the put the icing on top.I’m not a Stefan supporter,because he’s an actual simp.That doesn’t mean that Elena’s feelings are more important than what happened to him.He was literally forced into being a “bad guy”,even while still trying to put elena’s interests above all else.I’d do anything to take away everything Klaus values also.Stefan had do endure way more.

No one denying she had a bad back story it it’s irrelevant to her actions in this specific case her parents dying and all the vampire trauma shouldn’t play a fact in her doing the same thing as Katherine who she constantly criticized she’s a hypocrite and that’s cool she’s human it’s normal🤣 im saying all that to say this I’m not defending damon or Stefan both have done bad things and I think the entire trio is toxic I just think people try to defend Elena’s actions too much especially when it comes to her relationships

Yh the more I rewatch TVD the more I hate how Delena became a thing (mind you I was a Delena guy initially as the show did a good job for 1st time viewers to put you in that mood) Like Don you are spot on. I had that same question Stefan was with Klaus as a sacrfice to save Damon's life and while he was gone she sort falls in love with WHILE searching for Stefan. Like what kind of loyalty is that shit SMH Damon isn't innocent in this as well SHIIIIIIT, as much as I like his characters spontaneous, comedic, ruthless ways and how the show has him be sort of complex with layers and his redemption etc. THAT MOFO literally held Elena's face and told Elena TO REMEMBER WHAT SHE FELT WHILE STEFAN WAS GONE.... WTF BRO!!!! Stefan literally sacrificed himself for you. I sort of get its him being this passionate, in love, insecure, impulsive but on steroids with all those emotions being heightened cuz he is Vamp. I used to make that excuse for him but on rewatches ITS JUST SOOO FUCKED UP TO STEFAN. But FUUUUUHHHHKKK am i a sucker (pun intended) for the complex/layered character redemption route they go with Damon and I absolutely LOVE the brotherly dynamics & bromance moments with the Martyr Goat Stefan

Yeah, this seems more likely. Bonnie wouldn't have remained on the show for all these seasons if it was down to racism. She wouldn't be in the show as protest or to show some sort of resilience. It's nonsensical. Black people just like being victims and get off on the idea that this rumor is true.

Alot of people ig ore the many times she has described her feelings for Stefan as essentially a life raft when she was deeply grieving, meaning she didnt genuinely fall in love with him, she just desperately needed something to hold on to, which Stefan knew, making him an emotional rebound to get over the loss of her parents! Yet when she explains how she feels about Damon, their connection was genuine and sprang up when she was healed from her grief and without the manipulation and lies that her relation with Stefan was built upon!

I don’t know where these people come up with these stories like so and so did or didn’t stand up for Kat Graham when she hasn’t once made a direct accusation that she ever received racist mistreatment on set from Julie Plec or anyone else. She’s only ever stated her own opinions on her storylines, but never anything about how she was actually treated from the writers and nobody threatened to leave. As much as I would love to give Ian Somerholder credit like that there’s only ever been one confirmed story from a producer that he threatened to walk if they were going to kill off a different character. The writers like they do with any other character on a show like this have a couple of times thought about killing Bonnie and several of the actors probably came to her with ideas for that character moving forward, and I believe at one point Julie Plec did confirm that she was glad she did not kill off Bonnie at that particular point because she would wind up liking what they did with the character after that. Which if a director hated someone because of the color of their skin, they wouldn’t be talking positively about their decision to keep them and what they did with them moving forward. When you see the full scope of what Kat Graham gets to don on the show, you’ll realize immediately that this is absolute nonsense and it’s just people don’t like particular story directions and blame it on the color of her skin instead of just creative decisions for her character.
