Hello, hope you're well.

This Tuesday (the 13th of Feb.) I'll have a new video with a new module from a new maker (all the newness). This is from our very own DivKid community member Dwyfor Tech / Dan Phillips (he's 'Glogledd' in our Discord server) and it's been a pleasure to see this come to life and to then try it and it just sound soooo good!

This video is part of my new '3 patches with ..." series which is a series of shorter video demos that focus down to just 3 patches, as opposed to the fulsome mega in depth demos that explore further. The big in depth demos aren't going anywhere, but I'll be making some shorter videos like this in the future. I made the first one last year the Hexinverter/Erica Synths Mindphaser if you're curious.

There's also a little 'story time' interview as there's plenty of story and interesting parts around Pas-Isel (the new module). I'm looking forward to sharing that and more of the people and background and not just the gear itself.

A "forgettable" Buchla Filter Circuit is Reborn // 3 Patches with Pas-Isel from Dwyfor Tech

Pas-Isel is Welsh for Low Pass, handy that when this is a Eurorack filter module. Dwyfor Tech are a new company who have taken inspiration from what has been said to be a "forgettable" Buchla filter circuit, smashed that into a Korg MS-50 diode ring for a resonance path and masses of lovely guitar pedal style overdrive and they've made that a Eurorack filter with bags of character, and a different tone and circuit design (it's really multiple high shelf EQs). In the video we share some of the key points in the story of what this circuit was based on and a bit about the company.
