Hello,

I hope you're well, have snacks and refreshments and are ready for this evenings video premiere. Our very own DivKid community member Dan Phillips is launching his first module 'Pas-Isel' under new brand Dwyfor Tech.

There's an interest story to this one, including a "forgettable" Buchla filter design, love for the Korg MS-50 and guitar pedal style overdrives. It's been a really fun video to put together in my shorter form "3 patches" series of demos.

WHAT'S NEXT

Later this week, Thursday or Friday I'll be diving head (or rather the whole studio) first into the Golden Master pedal from Endorphines for my Patches and Pedals series and I've had some surprising results from that, looking forward to sharing, more on that later in the week.

Then next week we have something new from Instruo coming which has been equally exciting. I can't say anymore than that for now, but not long to wait.

A "forgettable" Buchla Filter Circuit is Reborn // 3 Patches with Pas-Isel from Dwyfor Tech

Pas-Isel is Welsh for Low Pass, handy that when this is a Eurorack filter module. Dwyfor Tech are a new company who have taken inspiration from what has been said to be a "forgettable" Buchla filter circuit, smashed that into a Korg MS-50 diode ring for a resonance path and masses of lovely guitar pedal style overdrive and they've made that a Eurorack filter with bags of character, and a different tone and circuit design (it's really multiple high shelf EQs). In the video we share some of the key points in the story of what this circuit was based on and a bit about the company.
