The King of Curses has won the November poll! 🎉

We’re going with his true form in the Heian Era. Monster fuckers (me included), rejoice! My head is already spinning with ideas for his story. The “bride” trope has been done a lot, so I won’t go that route. But there are still so many directions this could take. We could try something similar to Geto’s story and show Sukuna in a new light, with a more romantic side — or keep him as a ruthless monster, a cannibal by choice, etc. So I’d love to hear your thoughts!

What do you like about Sukuna? Do you think he could actually love someone naturally? Would you want to be humiliated by him? Protected? How do you feel about his cannibalism? So many questions!! Hehe

Over the next few days, I’ll be diving deep into everything I can find about Sukuna’s past — canon, headcanons, forum discussions, and more. I’ll also be reading some books on the Heian Era in Japan. That said, I won’t lean much (or at all) into the era’s misogyny because we’re here to escape reality. So don't expect historical realism in that regard.

I’ll also be catching up on messages and emails, announcing Requiem’s Echo on social media, and setting up my new laptop to start making Sukuna’s sprites. So much to do!

Once I have a clearer outline of the story, I’ll be putting up a Navigator poll so you can weigh in on the smut scenes. While I believe most see Sukuna as a dom, it’d be interesting to explore him as a begrudging switch/sub 👀
