You can now process customer returns, adjust live inventory counts, and print stock sheets — all from your phone — and the version of this app sitting in your member downloads is already built to handle it.
Before this update, the Mobile POS was already something to be proud of. You had a working point-of-sale app, a live Supabase database, and a deployment running on Netlify. But if a customer handed something back, there was no clean way to handle it. If your physical count didn't match what the system showed, you had no way to reconcile it without going around the app. Those gaps made it feel like a demo. This update makes it feel like a real business tool.
Here is what changed and what it means for you. The app now supports four order types instead of two — sale, purchase, return, and inventory adjustment — and each one is built into the interface so your staff or clients can use them without any extra steps. Returns are found directly inside an existing sale order, so the process is exactly what you would expect: find the transaction, tap Return Items, and it is done. The inventory count tab lets you walk your physical stock and post adjustments on the spot, right from your phone, and a printable count sheet means you can do it the old-fashioned way on paper first and still get it into the system cleanly. Low-stock alerts and a one-tap restock button are also live, which means the app is now surfacing decisions for you instead of just recording them.
The other thing this training shows you — and this is the part I am most excited about — is how to connect Claude directly to Supabase so it can read, write, and update your database without you ever copying and pasting SQL again. In the original training we generated scripts and moved them manually. Now Claude handles the migration, updates the schema, and syncs the columns on its own. That workflow alone is worth the rewatch.
Go back into the updated training now, grab the Mobile POS Builder Updated zip from your downloads, and follow along as the new skill file and the Netlify deploy walk you through getting everything live. The whole deployment is still just a drag and drop into Netlify once Claude hands you the updated folder.
