I BUILT FREE DISPATCH SOFTWARE IN EXCEL (MAPS + SCHEDULING) (Patreon)

You can now see every job and every technician’s route for the day on a live street map, and book a job just by dragging it onto a tech.
If you run a crew, you know the morning scramble: who’s going where, which jobs are still unassigned, and who’s about to hit overtime. Before I ever got into Excel, I ran a handyman business with multiple technicians, so I lived this every day. Most of it ends up on a whiteboard or in a pile of texts, or in software that costs a small crew a couple of thousand dollars a year and still won’t bend to how you work.
You’ll run your day from a dispatch board with day and week views, a red NOW line, and KPIs for jobs today, unassigned jobs, booked dollars, crew load and overtime risk. Each job holds unlimited photos and files. An “On My Way” button drafts the customer text and opens it in WhatsApp, ready for you to send. When the work is done, the estimate becomes a work order, the work order becomes an invoice, and the payment opens already filled in.
What if rescheduling a job took one drag? You drag it along the timeline to a new time, onto another technician, or back to Unassigned. The week view in the download does it too, and it picks the technician’s first free slot so no other customer’s job moves. Then there’s the animated drive routes view, which is worth watching for yourself.
I walk through every screen the way you’d use it on a real working day, from the map and board to customers, service items, technicians and the dashboard. The download comes with fictional sample data so you can practice, then clear it in one click and enter your own.
