Hello Members!

In this week’s Feature, Fix, or Focus, we take last week’s Getting Things Done training.

Here's the list of updates I made for this training:

· More Task Fields requested by Henk

· Task Selection Fix requested by Malcom

· Custom GTD Details added by Randy Austin

Please don’t forget to add your requests for your own Feature, Fix or Focus each week when I post a new video, right here on Patreon. Each week I will either add a new feature, fix a bug or an issue, or create another training with a special focus on any part, all based on your feedback and comments.

Downloaded the update and noticed that task icon pictures were red x. So I used the edit icon to update the picture and pointed to the folder on my computer where they were stored and the task list on the admin page was updated to valid displayed icon images. But when I went to my GTD page, these icons were not displayed on the task shapes and showed red x there. I then went to VBA and discovered that the section of code that copies the icon to the GTD page for subsequent duplication to the task shapes was commented out so there are not updated images I suspect. I believe there may be some icon shapes but not sure about the line number suffix and these would not be updated so if they are being picked up in creating task shapes, they will not have updated icon images. But then why weren't these delected? Well the line of code that deletes all ICON shapes is also commented out.

I found some issues when copying and pasting icons from the admin screen so its best, and faster to just have the icons in the GTD screen. I hope this helps and thanks so much.

Yes I understand but the VBA code that copies the icons from the Admin to the GTD sheets is commented out in the updated release and is not executed and also the code to delete any ICONs on the GTD sheet is commented out also. Thus the icons on the GTD sheet are never deleted or refreshed.

Yes that is correct as it was faster to comment it out, However you are welcome to uncomment it out of you would like to run that code as well. I also responded to your post in our group. Thanks again

Hi Cole, thanks for your message. If you are referring to the YouTube video you can change the language of the transcripts by clicking on the gear/settings icon directly on the video. Then find 'Subtitles' and select English (Auto-generated) at the bottom. In your Google/YouTube settings you can also set this as the default language for all videos. If you need a specific transcript for a single video please feel free to email my staff angela@excelforfreelancers.com I hope this helps and thanks so much.
