Well that was a great episode. He really leveled up and did the right thing 🎆🎇The dogfight was brilliant writing and just made that scene next-level comedy Season 2 next week!

I definitely like the approach of watching series more often but how do you feel with other series that are maybe once a week, how are you keeping up with like the information/events of the show? I usually do fine but sometimes I have struggled with shows that didn't capture me completely, I couldn't remember a few details or had to go back to the previous show to get a quick recap.

Time for a Jet Man story. Speaking of sneaking off to bike over to a girl's place, in senior year of high school, I did just that. Thought we would be at her home for a while alone, only to have her uncle randomly show up not long after I got there. I tried to sneak out her window only to go leg deep into muddy water. She tried to distract him, but he saw my parked bike. Totally got busted. He said, "If it was your mother that came home instead of me, she would murder you both." Thankfully, her uncle was mostly cool.

I love how when kaguya is at home in bed, the only way Hayasaka can cheer her up is describing the summer as one huge scheme lmao, because that's how kaguya thinks

this show is so good, i remember the manga was fantastic and they gave it their ALL for this adaptation. This quality is maintained if not exceeded in seasons 2 and 3 side note the openings for s2 and 3 are by the same artist and maintain similar energy 😁

Daddy Daddy Do next week has got me excited! Revisiting season 1 has been a joy, especially with having read the entire manga now and coming back to these early days again. I've definitely tried pulling some moves in high school I thought was slick as hell but now I look back on like yikes that was cringe. But it's all part of the fun of the teenager experience and is what makes that time period so special to a lot of us. The Rom and Com only goes up from here. Season 2 I think is when the whole team really hits their stride and just about everything is upgraded--the jokes, the production quality, the character development, and even the music. Also forgot if it's been mentioned in the comments before, but this series really likes making musical references to classic pop songs (like how you noticed "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" in an earlier episode). The track they like to play whenever someone has a hype moment with that guitar lick intro is a reference to the theme song from a popular old school J-drama https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZxzPcT1Meg.

Is there a better way to end this season with Shirogane thinking that his lines were cringy when they were not to the receiver? It seems to be the theme in this Tier.

Holy shit that story about you jumping over an electric fence, hiding from dogs and dad with a gun and then serenading to a girl with your guitar. It's like it is taken out of love is war/prison school man lol
