Metal Gear Rising: Revengence OST "Collective Consciousness" Official Lyrics: The unenlightened masses They cannot make the judgement call Give up free will forever their voices won't be heard at all Display obedience While never stepping out of line And blindly swear allegiance Let your country control your mind (Let your country control your soul) Live in ignorance When blood and sweat is the real cost And purchase your happiness Thinking ceases, the truth is lost You'll be told exactly what to do Don't you worry I give my people the lives they need The righteous will succeed The fires of greed will burn the weak So we'll make freedom obsolete Making whole the fabric of society Collective consciousness controlled as you will see MIND CONTROL Let your country control your soul Let your country control your soul Let your country control your soul Let your country control your soul

This just contrast with Orb. In here people live perfect because they get to think the system is perfect. While in orb people know system isn't perfect but they choose to believe because is God's grace.

Nah, you didn't know, the father-son relationship is supposed to be a reveal. But yeah, their relationship is very dysfunctional for obvious reasons so they rarely mention it.

I'm not sold on the singer, but the bass tho.. 👌

The Father-Son relationship between Ginoza and Masaoka was revealed this episode but before this their pasts and current attitudes towards each other kinda gave hints: - Ginoza's family became social outcasts and he's treated like latent criminal after his dad became one, leading to his current personality and strict nature toward Akane whenever she tried to take risks or get too close to the enforcers. - Masaoka being an old-school detective who became and enforcer due to doubting / disagreeing with the system.

The vocal delivery is definitely different but I feel like the full version really elevates it

This was the father/son reveal but now if you think back on their interactions so far it really adds another layer to their dynamic Also enjoyed Tony saying "criminally asymptomatic?" right before Ginoza says the same thing
