Not sure if this context has been given before, but christmas is more of a couples holiday than a family holiday in japan

Ster_arch_13

Prison School. It just has to be.

kail santini

At this point, I agree. We full send into prison school.

Mike

I'd like to see "Uncle from another world" next. It might not be as funny as Kaguya but I think it fits well into the cringe tier.

JoeyGuy7

Also, Akiba Maid War is my suggestion

Loayza

Makeine

JoeyGuy7

On the father thing, it's just that they're a super traditional old money family so they're expected to be super strict. It's like she's the child of a rockefeller or something

BlakStatik23

All of the different Kaguya personalities are generally together and thinking about what to do as she navigates daily life, but in this situation since they're unsure and in a disagreement, the Ice Princess version of her decided to fully unveil. It's like when you're really grumpy for a full day and other people have to talk to that version of you. Also, there's a slight scene in the opening that when I first saw it I freaked the fuck out over. At the end of the opening, you see someone closing a book, I'm thinking it's Kaguya, and she has a wedding ring on and the book is called "Memories". That shit threw me for a WHOLE loop and I had to take a while to actually process it basically telling us exactly where they're ending up. Now we just get to see the story of how they get there.

Alejandro Pupo

We finally made it to my favorite intro song for the show!

Jet Man

Alright, I know Anton wants it, so I'll just say "Space Dandy" on his behalf. (My other choices already got their mention.)

BlakStatik23

Just because even though they're clearly meant for each other, the show confirming it so offhandedly like that was insane to me. It's like the Reiner Confession thing in AoT where he just randomly said *it*.

S

The Vampire Dies in No Time. Shirogane’s VA voices the protagonist in this one and his performance is wild lol. It’s hilarious and definitely cringe.

Isaac Noël

Ayy you guys reckon Tony would like Shokugeki No Soma (Food Wars)? Would love to watch that one again. That show got quite a few solid laughs out of me. The descriptions of how the food tastes is just perfect lmao what do you think?

Matthew

It's time for prison school!!!

Jet Man

I second this. The references to older video games should be fun.

peeps

I'll recommend Grand Blue since it has a second season coming out soon. Also because it is just a hilarious show.

akRomulus

If you want peak degeneracy then prison school is the way to go

neZiiak

Prison School

Aritome

This arc is known as the ice kaguya arc, which many consider the best string of chapters in the manga. It is a little more dramatic than the rest of the show, so it might not quite be up your alley but it does have some real stuff to say about how we approach relationships.

Baka

Yes, please! Such a great over the top show. Zombie Land Saga would be nice too.

Avalon

Space Dandy for sure

Avalon

Oohhhhhhh Uncle from another world, just saw someone else say that and absolutely. It’s closer to Konosuba and Kaguya than the earlier stuff in this tier

Jet Man

Just throwing it out there because I forgot it, but "Overly Cautious Hero" has some Konosuba levels of humor.

Blood Of Mine

I'll throw my two cents in with "Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf." Unique time period, excellent music (Kevin Penkin), and maybe a little more mature since it's about making dat money baby.

Inosek

''Uncle from another world'' would be a great pick since it has a good balance between comedy and cringe. There is also a lot of references to old games that Tony might even played.

Gamesplore

The devil is a part timer

Sam

Overlord

Gazer21

hope next one is Grand Blue or Mushoku Tensei

あなん

gundam witch from Mercury

Krakatoa_7

Maybe Prison School? Get some cringe in your step. Grand Blue Dreaming would also be great

P_ateric

Nah first thing I noticed when I first landed in LA was how nice the weather was despite being in November

P_ateric

Then the palm trees of course

Red Menace

the 3rd op is still my fav op, this is my second, but it is my fav ed
