We now have a lot more pieces to the team puzzle that... could come back together... It's a very feel-good story at the moment with how they're staging the reunion, bringing the group back together 👍 This makes sense and is fun to watch. The op music is great, and I don't mind the rock country vibe of the ed as well

SKAOG

Nishinoya has the same VA as Genya from Demon Slayer. Although his VA is most famously known for his role in My Hero Academia (Bakugo).

Lixien

Nishinoya has the same voice actor as Himmel from Frieren btw. Damn, Full Metal just catching strays everywhere.

SKAOG

SPYAIR is indeed a great band

SKAOG

Ukai's VA isn't in Samurai Champloo as per MAL. He was in Code Geass though as Tamaki's VA, which might be where you recognise it from. Unfortunately he's passed away

SKAOG

And Asahi shares his VA with Reiner

Fuji Nami

The slow pace of this show ironically makes it go by super fast for me

Jet Man

2:10 - 🟨 Jump scare moment.

SKAOG

And Asahi also shares his VA as Onigawara from Mob (the Josuke looking delinquent)

Red Menace

lol, here we get introduced to another trope that i love/hate about sports anime, how do you draw someone to make them look better? make them look like grown ass adults LOL, and in some anime, especially towards the end, they start looking like Olympian gods LMAO, ahhh but its anime, i mean you saw that in s1 of steins gate, the main prot is only 19 in the story tech, but they draw him like a 30 something.

Red Menace

theres more than they've gone over, but what they've already shown in the anime is that the coach guy was a volleyball player, didn't tell you his position yet, and he works at his family store, beyond that you already know his grandfather was the coach at the school.

Arian Abdolahy

Where did they already show that the coach guy was a volleyball player?

Red Menace

they "talked" about it, i just used the shown word in a loose way.

Arian Abdolahy

But where? I never noticed that they already talked about that.

I think for the Japanese the idea of being the ‘weakest link’ goes with a lot of shame and that culture really takes shame very seriously.

MadeOnMars

im late but that’s because it hasn’t been mentioned yet at this point, so if tony read that comment at this point, guy literally spoiled
