This is such a powerful episode and honestly... the best anime we are watching right now. The best one we have watched in a LONG time. Mannnnnnn.... This gonna F with my head the rest of the day, and I love it for that. All my thoughts at the end, like normal, but this one just felt different.

Binja

Next episode we are getting new visuals for the op and a new ed, this show is trully special.

Jet Man

The "page" reveal at the end of this episode was next-fucking-level giga brain and it was on my mind for a week until the next episode. That's the kind of thing your DM thinks up for the party to solve.

Tuny kun

I still can't get over how amazing and cohesive the opening video, song, and concept are. Amazing art direction. Easily my favorite op in years.

Hermit

The intro of this episode is so good. The unspoken words, Jolenta's father's blank expression, the subtle looks the guy who faked her death is giving. Letting the silence speak. I'll need to rewatch that show again and again, it really is a masterclass of storytelling.

PlatypusPrince

Yep Jolenta is still alive she escaped on a horse and that's all we know. Also cool detail is that Nowak mentions the letter Jolenta wrote him in the very first episode while torturing someone.

Halo S

the way they just humanized the most terrifying dude in the show so quickly

P_ateric

Badeni clearly laid out that he despises the idea of educating peasant and sharing information, yet it is written in his will. This is probably the “letter” he was about to write mentioned when they were about to be captured . Character development.
