How does this keep getting better? I am very thankful for this being voted on here.Schmidt's character and philosophy are hitting home. Those few dialogue lines he had spawned a tangent Tony at the end. This is just a masterpiece anime and a great example of when art is used to discuss difficult topics.

I did NOT expect any anime to talk about class counciousness, what a pleasant surprise. I've always seen myself as an agnostic when it comes to religion and the way Schmidt talked about his own faith really resonates with me. I'm really looking forward to the show exploring his belief system.

I feel like this anime really shows something that I love with a lot of the characters we pay attention to mainly and their vast differences in the same religious beliefs, we get so many different ways to look at following the same god, and I love it, like you said, I love learning these things about people and learning their perspective on how they got where they are, no talking down on their perspectives, but just hearing their story of getting there

I think the guy talking at the end was the illegitimate son of the previous bishop, the one who pretended to kill Nowak's daughter, and is now bishop himself? The guy with the scar, i think he's in the intro, i could be mistaken. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
