This anime keeps getting better and better. Slow crescendo value push. Massive think piece.

This is just a theory I have, but I think what the system views as inevitable anomalies that are criminally asymptomatic and "unable to be judged by Sibyl" is actually intrinsically linked to Sibyl's goal of achieving perfection by absorbing those criminally asymptomatic people into its collective. The system places a high value on those whose thinking and mentality falls far outside of the norms and conventions anticipated by Sibyl and so rather than judging those people as dangers to society it gives them essentially perfect scores because it thinks so highly of them. It cannot find fault in their mentality when it has also judged their mentality as ideal enough to be a future addition to Sybil. This high value placed on people with anomalous personalities is what allows for people to be criminally asymptomatic in the first place. I guess you could say it's a chicken and the egg situation. Sybil is arguing that the criminally asymptomatic people came first, and so it decided to add them to it's collective. I would argue that it's desire to achieve perfection through the addition of the most unique minds came first, and this brought about the judging of people who are clearly criminal as having perfectly clear Psycho-Passes because of how the system believes they have ideal mental states.

Also this is my third time watching. First time was original release week to week. Second time was Director's Cut (double episodes with about one additional scene per DC episode).

There's a ton of value in rewatching Psycho Pass, especially after years of experience and personal growth. I've seen the show several times now, and each time I pick up more and more nuance and details that were left unsaid/underneath the scenes. Really, this is just the Urobutcher at his finest, in his heyday really. What a fantastic writer he is.

Actually rewatched it too many times, too count it. Even rewatched the second season at least once, although I didn't like it as much. But I actually enjoyed it more the second time. besides that: yeah, the rewatch rewards are big in this anime.

This is a good show, characters are good looking, The story is great, the idea conveyed inspired people to think what's right or wrong, what justice is. And the songs are good. Season 1 is well pathed, everything and every ep linked and relates to each other.
