not a dig, you have said many times you don't like computer manipulation of sounds, and processing, or at least super processing of music, but you also said you enjoy edm, so im curious, is it all processing that's bad, is it only certain processing? or is it processing in an area were you don't think its necessary? genuine question as a musical idiot.

I don't really appreciate the computer manipulation of humans that are supposed to be musicians. Ie,vocals that need post production to be "correct". Processing that has to make up for skillset deficiency is my main gripe across all production. EDM is computer created sounds from the start, so it makes more sense to me.

ok, that makes sense, its not "proccessing" per say that you hate, its when its used either to change the sound of someones voice, or when its used as a crutch. i can get that, hell i even agree with that. As a foodie its the same thing as having food that's been researched and chemically perfected in a lab, vs someone getting fresh ingredients and putting them together in a appetizing way.
