Wholesome. All these scrimages have been awesome, so I can't imagine how cool the actual matches will be. Let's go for fundamentals and team development!

watching the team learn and grow and then execute in the actual matches, the show is going places. I cannot wait.

by the way, i think you asked in one of your reactions on how many openings are there in an anime, and there's basically a formula to guess that. If the anime season is 12/13 epsiodes, there's going to be just 1 opening most often than not. If it's 24/25/26 epsiodes long there's probably going to be 2 openings with a change usually at the midpoint of the season (ep 13 for a 24 epsiode season, or ep 14 for a 26 epsiode season, plus/minus 1 episode). And in general, there's an opening every 12-13 episodes. And if the number of epsiodes dont match whole multiples of 12-13 epsiodes, you can also predict a change every some multiple of episodes that evenly divides the length of the season.

The OST at 8:45 is "Adults", really soothing.

15:51 Kageyama asks Hinata if he still thinks being a decoy is uncool, and Hinata responds that he does not think it is uncool. asking those questions can get confusing.

Jump float serves remnded me of knuckleballs in association football when i first saw them

SKAOG

OST name is "Frustration" at 14:00 when Hinata is frustrated

SKAOG

And the OST that you said was cool at 21:30 is "Mechanical Reaction"

The coach said the balls are going at least 100kph. That is 62.14 miles per hour, traveling a distance of only two to three meters, that is about 6 to 10 feet. That's what Nishinoya managed to save in the beginning.

Arian Abdolahy

Kageyama is awesome for how aggressively he cares and holds Hinata up to high standards. I wish I had a friend like that – and that kind of rivalry. Funny thing is, once a friend and student in a state-certified program for voice, speech, and breathing instruction aggressively shouted at me when I was at his place and kept clearing my throat, as if I were about to put my hand into a fire, and then explained how it damages the vocal cords. I already knew the theory, but the energy with which he delivered it was so strong that this one intervention was enough to make me stop that habit completely.

One comment on 🍤f, not totally negative…. Progress👍😂

It’s Ummmm, actually time 🤓🗣️ Hiakyuu is actually pretty darn good with its accuracy of plays n that in volleyball, but even an incredibly strong+twitchy high school athlete would not be hitting that hard. I’ve played low level pro/D1 and a great hit is about 90km/h (still exceptionally hard to cover), on the national level 100km/h+ on a spike would be considered a good swing Extra waffle if interested 🗣️ I was a little disappointed it isn’t really shown in hiakyuu, but often if the set is in a bad position/ there’s 3 blockers, the hitter can intentionally take pace off the ball and throw it against the block- “recycling” it (you get your 3 touches back and put your team in a better position). Japan in particular is exceptional at this

Red Menace

@aidan suttie keep watching, the show might surprise you

Red Menace

lol, im getting tot eh point where i look forward to your comments every show, love this show, glad people are passionate about it

Red Menace

im not the biggest fan of the op personally, and i enjoy the ed for the meme of it, but i love the soundtrack within the show itself

Red Menace

lol, we have detlef shrimp, jim henson, and now shrimpy, who and whats next?

Red Menace

lol, love the strawman tony, when a teacher comes in to tell them that its late and they need to go home somehow = trusted students that are on a sports team are NEVER allowed to have the keys to open the gym early on a school day, thumbs up on the logical fallacy LOL

drumrolltonyreacts

It's not logical fallacy it's just common sense and experience from teaching.. . have you ever taught a day in your life bro?? Do you have any grasp of how liability and insurance works?

Red Menace

hinata is a character that got the nat 20 roll on dex, good rolls on strength, ridiculous con, and then face planeted on wis, int, and char LOL, but it also shows how bad stats do not make a bad character, they are still fun to play and have.

Red Menace

yes, ive also been to a japanese highschool, you do understand there are people and societies that have different norms than you right? you cant compare america and japan 100%, there are so many differences in culture, society, and more, while ya they are still human, humans can have different views and beliefs.

drumrolltonyreacts

Yes bro I understand. I have years of global travel and experience under my belt. I know you fap so hard for these stories but risk mitigation with young people is a real thing globally. We had keys to shut in my high school. Guess what, we did not so good stuff under the radar. Lmao I know how it can go both ways.

Red Menace

lol, the false equivalency logical fallacy is the fallacy, your thinking that your own experience is the norm in all circumstances and societies. Risk mitigation is 100% a thing, its a thing in japan, and students in japan do not so good things too, just generally not to the same degree and level as america, and where the do the worst is generally in interpersonal things, rather than property destruction. Your going all over the place to try, for some reason, to not believe that a trusted 2nd or third year, trusted and respected, highschool student, on a sports team that uses it, would not be allowed to get the keys to the gym, from the office, in japan.

Red Menace

but 100% in america that would NEVER happen lol, good god

Red Menace

and yes, if that student did some shit, they would be perma banned from the office, probably expelled given the strict nature of schools in japan.

SKAOG

lol thanks for the kind words. Haikyu is in my top 10, and even 5 for sure, gets me hyped!

Red Menace

lol, to quote, "what is this, twitter?"
