WOWWWWW - it's great to be back in this story because damn it's intenseI think Odd Taxi is def in my top 15 or top 20. As we watch more and more titles, it becomes competitive to decide where stuff falls as far as preference. Took me a moment for my brain to register the gatcha game history and the WHY that bro was so outta it. I forgot about that with the gap between watching. Save your suggestions for a vote on the final episode, thanks!

If you go back to Episode 1 Shirakawa gives that eraser to Odokawa. I definitely had that scene in my mind but it didn't click until this episode. It was such a "oh shit, that's right" moment.

The police twin's parents were killed in a hit and run by a taxi driver ( not our guy) , if you remember in the earlier episodes, whenever the younger brother questions the older one he said " do you really believe him, after all he's a taxi driver" and the younger one would just agree with him. And the keychain was given to them when they stop getting payments for orphaned children - given to them by dobu's boss - implying that he might have been the one who was paying them till they graduated from police department - hence the older brother helps dobu as a way of repaying his boss.

hey, i was the one who requested the opening in a stream originally, it was like more than 2 years ago by now i think. Now im finally getting all i wanted and im so excited for you to see the ending. Btw, i really recommend a rewatch someday, there was so much foreshadowing and hints you can only understand at a second watch.

Huh? What do you mean a follow up vote? Obviously, we just watch Odd Taxi again :P (joking of course)

Basically the police brothers were receiving money from the same foundation as Odakawa, as Odakawa has the same keychain up in his car. It just so happens the boss of that foundation is Dobu's boss (supposedly they get all this money to support orphaned kids from their illegal activities), so the older Daimon brother was helping Dobu out as a way to repay him. The accident that killed Odakawa's parents and the one that killed the Daimon's parents are unrelated (The Daimon's parents were killed in a hit and run by a taxi driver, while what we know of Odakawa's parents was that it was reportedly a double suicide). Can't wait for you to see the final episode its a banger.

This op song made me a fan of Punpee and Skirt... I'll load up the best of tracks list for Punpee whenever I need something groovy and chill in the background

I will say that one of the benefits of binging this all at once is that you don't have large gaps to forget things, god this show is so good, top 5 for me too
