Cyan has arrived 👀The plane reminded me of that one 'The Boys' episodeI am not sure of the timeline here. Have we gone somewhere else because it felt like it?Greed, greed, and more greed.

The timeline is now before E soul. I know it’s a little confusing here, but it wraps up very well

Jack Allen

In terms of the timeline we are currently in the past. In the last ep the E-souls were going at it while adult Cyan was performing.

wait, lmaoo, can you remind me where she was performing? I am drawing a complete blank here

Jack Allen

If you remember Xia Qing asked Yang Cheng to go to the Lucky Cyan concert and he lied and said he didn’t like her despite him having tickets and wanting to ask her out. They got in a fight on the beach and while he was fight old E-Soul she was there alone at the concert. Cyan sang the vocaloid song you thought was cringe.

The concert was happening at the same time as the duel. And the background music for the fight was Lucky Cyan.

You don't have to worry too much about the timeline. It gets confusing unless you pay attention to the dates. All you need to know is that the first arc is the last in the timeline. Just pay attention to the different plot points and how they connect each story and you'll be good.

Here's the timeline of the arcs so far: - the start of the Lin Ling and Nice arc began 41 years AC (after commission) - the E-Soul arc began 36 years AC (so 5 years before Nice Arc) - the start of this episode begins with the plane crash at 23 years AC and then moved to 5 years later at 28 years AC and then another 6 years at 34 years AC (which leaves us just 2 years before the start of the E-soul arc) - we saw a flashback of Yang Cheng (new E-soul) where he was saved by old E-soul as a kid that took place at 20 years AC

We are going backwards in the timeline. Also, each arc features or hints at the next Hero. First we started with Nice/Lin Ling and ended that arc with Moon dead & E-Soul hovering in the background. Then we got E-soul backstory featuring Lucky Cyan's popular concerts. Now we're focusing on Lucky Cyan's origin.

As others have said don't worry too much about the timeline. Any plot points that are connected through the timeline will be directly communicated to you so you don't need to remember exact years and stuff. I'm sure people can keep updating the timeline in the comments every episode as well. Lucky Cyan's arc is personally one of my favourites in this season, and story wise this arc onward really hooked me with what the creators are doing with the larger narrative.
